An endless controversy has been involving in an origin of Early Permian diamictites on northern margin of Gandwanaland,owing to absence of ripe lithological criterion up to date.The authors suggest that an origin of these diamictites must be controlled by both paleogeography(paleolatitude)and paleo-tectonic environment,which can not be treated as different matters.
