摘要
Bi-based superconductors bear highly layered structure with Bi-O, Cu-O, Sr-O andmetallic Ca layers arrayed in turn. EXAFS has been applied to studying the localstructure of Cu and Bi atoms in Bi<sub>4</sub>Sr<sub>3</sub>Ca<sub>3</sub>Cu<sub>4</sub>O<sub>y</sub> superconductor.
