连铸中间罐开浇用Ca-Al引流环的试验研究

Trial research on Ca-Al pilot ring for starting liquid steel flow at start of tundish pouring of continuous castre

Ca—Al引流环是用纯金属Ca、Al经过特殊加工制成的一个开口的圆环。在大包钢水放入中间罐前,把引流环套在中间罐塞头上,引流环与钢水接触燃烧产生高热值,把水口周围钢水加热,减少中间罐开浇时的水口故障,提高开浇成功率。经过工业性批量使用,已获得成功。

The Ca-Al pilot ring for startng liquid steel flow is an open round ring which is made from pure cacium and a aluminum through a particular processing. It is fixed on the stopper rod head of the tundish before pouring liquid steel into tundish from a ladle. The pilot ring can yield a lot of heat after meeting liquid steel and burning itself out and then heat the liquid steel around the nozzles. Therefore, it can reduce the stoppage at starting pouring of tundish nozzle and increase the possibility of success in starting pouring. It has been used in the commercial production of industry and won success.
