Innovation for full continuous casting in L-D converter plant at Lian Yuan Iron and Steel General works

本文介绍了湖南涟钢三炼钢厂连铸发展概况以及实现全连铸存在的问题,並提出了在其钢产量不断增长的情况下实现全连铸改造配套的主要措施。通过三年来组织实施,该厂的钢产量、连铸比和技术经济指标均得到大幅度提高,超过了原来预定目标,取得了较大的经济效益,可望在1994年上半年实现100％连铸。

This paper presents the general situation of development of the continuous casting in No 3 Steelmaking Plant at LianYuan Iron and Steel General Works, Hunan and also introduces the problems that have been confronted in achieving full continuous casting in this plant and proposes some key measures to carry out the full continuous casting under the increasing growth of the output of steel. With three-year implementation of these measures, the steel output, the continuous casting and the technolongical economics indicators of this plant have been greatly advanced since 1991 and have exceeded the expected goal. In the mean-time, a huge economic benefit has been obtained. The accomplishment of full continuous casting in the plant will be possible, before the end of June 1994.
