By the end of 1993,with Ms.Feng's efforts,the floor space of greenhouses in the village increased to 1,000 mu.The village becomes wel l-known for the vegetable production.The quality of life for most villagers has been much improved.In 1993,the per capita income in that village amounted to 1,250 yuan.Economic progress has brought about an evident change in people's 1deas on marmiage and childbearing.Of the 90 couples who have only child,50 have accepted the one-child certificates.
