It is shown that unit spheres of C0(X) and C0(Y) are isometric if and only if X and Y are homeomorphic ; and each isometry between the unit spheres of C0 (X) and C0 (Y) is necessarily the restriction of an isometry between C0(X) and C0 (Y) with one part is linear and another part is conjugate-linear.
