Study on Pharmacology and Toxicology of Spermicide Nonoxynol-9.

壬苯醇醚-9最低有效杀精子浓度0.2～0.25mg/ml。小鼠ip的LD_(50)为128.5±7.7mg/kg、大鼠阴道给药的LD_(50)>500mg/ml。33倍人用剂量亚急性试验给药组与空白对照组无明显差异(P>0.05)。100mg/ml浓度不抑制阴道乳酸杆菌。1mg/皿进行的Ames试验结果阴性。家兔阴道刺激试验结果总分值为6.63,在可接受范围。

In the present study the effectireness and toxicity of Nonoxgnol-9 were tested. The minimal effective concentration of sper-micide Nonoxynol-a CNP-9 was 0. 2-0. 25mg/ml in ritrol. LD50 of NP-9 ip in female mice was 128. 5 7. 7mg/kg and administration by ragina in female rats was greater than 500mg. kg. In the subacute toxicity teot in female rabbits a dose, 33 times that for women-use, showed significant difference between the test and control groups ( P > 0. 05 ). Lactobacillus acidophilus (ATCC 4356) was not inhibited in concentration of 100mg/ml. Ames tests were negative using SalmonUa strain TA97,TA98,TA100 and TA102. Vaginal irritation in female rabbits showed an acceptable seove 6. 63 for inflammation.
