In this paper, the use of dBASEⅢ data bank in designing and realizing the system of books catalogue computer management was introduced. The design metold,the composition Principle and the funcation character of the system were discussed at the same time.The system not only undertakes many kinds of business work of the catalogue department,but also has many kinds of other business management funcation.
