摘要
文章认为，随着社会主义市场经济体制的建立，走向市场乃是地勘单位经济发展的必然选择，而地勘单位走向市场须由传统的事业单位转变为企业，存在一个转轨变型的问题，因而难度远远大于工业企业。文章还论述了地勘单位进入市场需要具备的内外部条件，并提出了相应的对策。
The author holds, following the establishment of the socialist market economy, going to the market is the inevitable choice of the geological prospecting units to achieve economic development. But they should first be transformed from being conventional institutional units to enterprises.This means they have to change their track and pattern of operation, which involves much great difficulties than those encountered by industrial enterprises. The internal and external conditions they ought to obtain for entering into the market are discussed with the author's suggestions on steps to be taken to move towards it.
