伪楔天牛属ASAPERDA BATES新种记述(鞘翅目:天牛科:沟胫天牛亚科)

NOTES ON THE GENUS ASAPERDA BATES WITH DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SPECIES

1991年,作者在重庆市歌乐山麓采得伪楔天牛属一新种,定名为Asaperda chongqingensis Chen et Chiang。

This paper deals with a new species, Asaperda chongqingensis Chen et Chiang sp. nov., of the genus Asaperda Bates (1873) from Geleshan, Chongqing in 1991. Asaperda chongqingensis Chen et Chiang sp. nov. (Fig. 1) Male: Size small, dark brown. Elytra clothed with gray pubescence and mixed sparsely with erect black hair, denser around scutellum and basal costa, elytral surface scattered with small black spots, mostly coalesced into subtransverse lines in posterior half; with a pair of parenthesis-shaped obtuse ridge on elytral bases behind scutellum deeply and coarsely punctured in the depression between the ridges. Body length: 8mm; breadth: 2mm. Holotype: Male. Sichuan (Chongqing, Geleshan), VI-1991,Y.P.YIN This new species closely resembles A. meridiana Matsushita of South China and Taiwan Island,but it can be distinguished from the latter species by (1) the presence of a pair of obtuse costae on elytral bases; (2) elytral apices subtruncate; (3) the black legs only reddish brown on basal one third of the femora.
