Restoration of residual root and crown of posterior tooth with casted post and PFM

目的 探讨后牙残根残冠的有效修复方法 ,最大限度地保留患牙。方法 对 65例经过完善根管治疗、缺损较严重的后牙残根残冠 ,采用铸造桩核及金属烤瓷冠修复 ,并进行 1～ 4年的临床观察。结果 修复成功率为 92 3 %,失败率为 7 7%。结论 该方法使过去认为该拔除的患牙得到了保留 。

Objective To evaluate the prothodontic methods for retaining residual root and crown Methods Casted post and crown were adopted for the restoration of 65 cases of residual roots and crowns which had received complete root canal treatment,and followed up for 1～4 years Results The successful rates was 92 3% and failure rates 7 7% Conclusion The method introduced in the study proved to be a reliable way for retaining the residual root and crown
