The vacuum technique is included in the research of ESG.In this pa- per,the principle for selecting vacuum pumps used in ESG has been discussed and the re- search on the vacuum technology in our factory has been presented also.It is the best moth- od to measure the total leak rate R for estimating the vacuum states.
