The imperial palace was a forbidden area with strict reg- ulations. If you let your mind wander for a single moment, you'll meet with a fatal disas- ter. But Grand Secretary Zhu Gui was an exception. Although he repeatedly viol- ated the palace regulations, Zhu found favour with emperor from beginning to end. This reason was that Zhu Gui was imperial tutor, and honest and upright, free from corruption.
