散文衰落再思考

A Second Thought on the Declination of Proses

对新时期散文衰落原因的探讨到目前为止,还没有完全切人问题的实质。散文的衰落具有多种必然性:首先与文体演变有关。散文内部不断分化、独立出各种文学样式,使散文的表现范围越来越窄。其次是社会文化和社会生活发展的必然结果。如今社会文化形式十分丰富,各种文学形式,大众传媒、家庭文化的发展,使散文失去竞争优势。再次,散文本身特点也决定它在这个变化多姿的时代无所作为。以散文一时发行量的增多就断言散文走出了低谷是不科学的。

The discussion about the cause of the declination of proses in the new period has not so far quite touched the crux of the matter. The declination of proses is inevitable. First of all, it relates to the development of the prose style. The style is constantly devided into so many, literary patterns that the scope proses.can depict is getting more limited; secondly,it is the inevitable result of the development of social culture and social life. Nowadays proses gain no superiority in the competition owing to the varied forms of social culture: thirdly , the characteristics of proses also make it get nowhere in the colourful and ever-changing times. It is not scientific to jump to the conclusion by one favourable issue that proses are no more at a low tide.
