Try to Comment on the Culture of Prehistoric Age in West Coast of Taiwan

台湾西海岸地区是大陆史前文化向岛屿传播的首先到达之地。在这一带发现了迄今年代最早的遗存,即左镇晚期智人化石。本区史前考古最早源于1896年台北芝山岩遗址的调查,近一个世纪以来经科学调查和发掘,积累了一定的田野资料,特别是新石器时代文化遗存。对于西海岸新石器文化的区系类型研究乃是一项首要的基础性工作。

West coast of Taiwan is first place from continent culture of prehistoric Age to island. Its Culture of prehistoric Age is separated into three parts i. e. north, middle and west-south part. Author studies essentially and compiles the annals of original culture of west Coast area passing through the analysis in detail for middle prehistoric Age's Ruins of three places, meanwhile author found that its development system is the string Veins pottery to red pottery, grey black hard pottery and trellis design pottery. But this development system is essentially identical with the Culture of prehistoric Age of east Asian continent except it is later than east Asian Continent in Age.
