APPLICATION OF TRANSPLANT TOLERANCE TO ALLOGENEIC FETAL LIVER GRAFTING IN MOUSE

摘要 The hemapoietic stem cells in the fetal liver can be used to treat many disorders in the immune and blood systems in place of that in the bone marrow (BM). Fetal liver (FL) graft has the advantages over BM in two respects: (1)engraftment with no graft-versus-host disease (GVHD); (2) good resource in China. The stem cells of FL could not engraft for a long time in the host, because they could not overcome the rejection from the host, which limited the clinical use of the regiment. We have developed a murine transplant tolerance model with adult BALB/C mouse, in which grafting FL can increase the engraftment rate between allogeneic mice.
