An investigation is given about the thermal degradation mechanism of a cellulosic and carbo-xymethyl cellulosic fibre.This is carried out through the thermal degradation of the fibre,theanalysis of the TG and DTA thermo-spectrograms and the degradation-gas chromatogram,andthe calculation of the degradation activating energy.
