Using Today's Technology to Clean up the Planet

1.清洁能源发达国家对能源——电、天然气以及一切现代文明使用的矿物燃料——的需要是引起污染的主要原因,这种污染正在使人类居住的这颗星球变暖。由于燃烧矿物燃料——煤炭、石油与天然气——产生的二氧化碳对温室效应负有60%的责任。其它的重要温室气体有CFC_s、甲烷、靠近地球表面的臭氧与一氧化二氮。但在能源生产领域里有些最有激励性的新技术已经显露出来。

The change in the earth's climate,caused by humanity's warming of the atmosphere, is the most menacing threat human civilization has ever faced.The more that is known,the worse the picture becomes. Yet the scientific and technological developments which led to industrialization and the accumulation of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere have also produced technologies which offer a vital key to solving the problem,if action is taken soon.
