The Operative Treatment of Severe Pes Equinus Varus

我院自1985年始根据严重马蹄内翻足生理解剖特点,临床实践及随访观察并多次手术改进,至今形成一综合术式即跟腱延长,分裂韧带切开,胫后肌延长,杵臼式三关节融合,外踝尖切除与腓骨肌短缩术等,并取得良好效果。

After treatment of severe pes equinus varus for 15 years, we found that the routine triple arthrodesis couldn′t correct the, deformity in one step of operation. Sine 1985, after clnical practice and repeatly improvement the comprehensive operation had been formed. It included lengthening the calcanean tendon, dividing the anterior annular ligament, lengthening the posterior ti bialis tendon, pestle and motar triple arthrodesis, excision of the lower end of fibula and shortening the peroneus muscle. After all, we achieved good results.
