珍珠鸡对鸡新城疫病毒具有较高的敏感性,用鸡新城疫疫苗免疫后有较好的保护力。当群体抗体水平均值为84时,保护率为100％;抗体水平均值为30时,保护率为60％;抗体均值为9时,保护率为30％;抗体均值为0时,不能抵抗鸡新城疫强毒。

The Guinea fowl was very susceptible to the virus of Newcastle Disease. But vaccination with Newcastle vaccine resulted in better protection against such disease. In groups,when the average value of antibody was 84,the protective rate was 100%. When the former was 30 or 9 ,the latter was 60%or 30%correspondingly. If the former was reduced to zero,the fowl would fail to have power of resistance to Newcastle Disease.
