摘要
The B. t. δ-endotoxin protein gene has been transferred into a commercial rice variety Zhonghua No. 11 by the pollen-tube pathway method. The expression of β-glucuronidase activity in the transgenic plant (D<sub>3</sub>) was confirmed by histochemical analysis. Since the GUS gene was translationally fused with the B. t. δ-endotoxin protein gene in the recombinant plasmid pGYCK63, the expression of the GUS gene offered evidence for the expression of the δ-endotoxin protein gene in the transgenic rice plant.
