Low Na<sub>2</sub>O/Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> ratio, dilute sodium aluminate solutions are unstable and decompose spontaneously in long-time storage. But the newly prepared dilute solutions （usually prepared by the dilution of more stable concentrated solutions）do not decompose immediately.
