Pulmonary Pneumonia in the Elderly A Clinical Analysis of 78 Cases

本文报告了78例老年人肺炎的临床资料。临床症状以咳嗽、咳痰、发热、胸痛为主。对44例进行痰菌培养,11例阳性,主要为革兰氏阴性杆菌感染。17例并发多器官衰竭(22％),其中6例死亡。衰竭的器官数与病人死亡率相关。讨论了老年人肺炎的临床特征、防治意见、以及并发多器官衰竭的可能机理。

Clinical data of 78 aged patients with pulmonary pneumona are reported. 47 cases were male, 31 were female, with age ranging from 1990 to 1992 years. Cough, sputum, fever and chest Pain predominated in the clnical presentaton. Sputum culture was made in 44 cases, 11 were positive. Gram-negative bacilli were principal cauative a-gents.17 patients with multiple organ failure (MOF) were found, 6 died of MOF.
