摘要 All 15 members of the UN Security Council endorsed on December 3 a full-scale military operation led by the United States to make sure aid meant for millions of starving Somalis is not looted by rampaging gangs. On December 9, hundreds of US Marines stormed Mogadishu in a bloodlessly staged strike and took over the harbour and airport.
