摘要 Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDA) is used for studying the effects of various parameters of impingement jets in cylindrical chamber (IJCC), such as d/D, H/d, γ (momentum ratio) and Re, on flow pattern, as well as those on turbulence intensity. Experimental results show that turbulence intensity is enhanced with decrease of II/d and/ or increase of d/D; and turbulence intensity approaches to a maximum as T=1. Re imposes a quite complicated in- fluence. In case the jet velocity remains unchanged, turbulence intensities might keep almost constant when Re's vary even a magnitude of order.
