在当今计算机技术迅猛发展的信息时代,计算机英语词汇也随之大量涌现,其中缩略语的增加尤为迅速。计算机英语缩略语的形式丰富多样,根据其结构特点大致可分为如下六种,即:首字母缩略词、混成词、节略词、缩写词、数字+单词首字母以及同音字母替换同音单词的缩略语。

With the rapid development of computer technology, a great number of computer English words are cre- ated. And a wide variety of shortening words of computer English appear. According to their structure character- istics, shortening words may be classified into: Initialism, Acronyms, Blending words, Clipped words and Ab- breviations, etc.
