A review with 19 refs. discusses the effect of interfacial property on polymer blends mixed with solid particles, the effect on the mechano-theological behavior of plastics blends toughened with rubber and the effect on its interfacial tension, interface thickness and rubber particle size. The theory and the experiment methods of interfacial research are also discused.
