摘要
Determination of the sliding speed of ancient and old landslides is one of the most difficult problems in landslide research. Previously, the sliding speed was estimated according to the morphology of slided mass, sliding distance and other indicators. The obtained results depending upon experiences of investigators are usually of low reliability.
