摘要
The Pingxiang-Leping depression is one of the important tectonic belts in the west part of Jiangxi Province. The Early Permian siliceous carbonate formation consists of carbonates, clays and siliceous rocks. It is distinguished in the sedimentary features and the peculiar Chrysanthemum-shaped celestite. The discovery of this celestite is helpful for resuming the sedimentary environment of west Jiangxi Province. Therefore, the Chrysanthemum shaped celestite has been studied systematically both in the field and in laboratories.
