摘要 The lifetime data of atomic uranium energy levels are indispensable in laser isotope separation (LIS)of uranium for selecting optimum separation scheme. The number of U levels is enormous and the density is high, rendering the U spectrum extremely complex. What is more, temperatures≥2500 K are needed to produce the required U densities for LIS. At these elevated temperatures uranium is very reactive, in addition to its radioactivity. All
