摘要
The locality yielding the endoliths under present study lies at Maidiping, 14 km south of the township of Emei County, Sichuan Province, China, where the fossils occur within a 38.42m thick phosphatic dolomite sequence stratigraphically known as the Maidiping Formation. Its lower boundary with Hongchunping Formation is defined at the lowest occurrence of the small shelly fossils, by which its age is dated as equivalent to Meishucunian. The lithological sequence has been measured by Yin et al. (1980) and subdivided into numerous subunits in stratigraphical order from Beds 32 to 39. The endoliths under study were obtained
