摘要 The syntheses, characteristics and chemical properties of η<sup>6</sup>. arene complexes of transient metal elements, especially titanium, have been substantially studied. But investigation on this type of complexes with 4f-block elements has just begun. In 1986, Cotton et al. reported the first η<sup>6</sup>-arene complex of samarium, Sm(η<sup>6</sup>C<sub>M</sub>e<sub>6</sub>)(η<sup>2</sup>AlCl<sub>4</sub>)<sub>3</sub>. Studies on the syntheses, structures and chemical properties of η<sup>6</sup>-arene complexes of lanthanoids are of great significance for understanding the bonding theory of f-block elements and
