Urinary retention due to postoperativeanal pain is clinically very common.Theconventional acupuncture treatment is need-ling on Qihai (Ren 6) and Zhongji (Ren 3),which is not always effective.In recentyears,the authors found auric,ulo-acupuncture very effective,with 20 casestreated reported as follows.
