THE POPULATION STRUCTURE OF PHRYNOCEPHALUS PRZEWALSKII IN SPRING

荒漠沙蜥的春季种群按性腺的发育程度可划分为亚成体组、成体1组和成体2组等三个年龄组。它们的体全长和体重呈非常显著的正相关,其相关系数随年龄的增长而减小。各年龄组雌雄个体数量无显著差异。亚成体仅占种群的40.43%,可见该种群生产能力较低,故应重视保护。

According to the development of their sex gland, the spring population of phrynocephalus przewalskii can be divided into three age groups: Sub-adult Group, Adult Group One, and Adult Group Two. There is very obvious positive correlation between their body length and weight. The correlation coefficient will decrease as they grow. There is no signi-ficant differentiation in the number of male and female between each age group. However, the Sub-adult Group makes up only 40.43% of the population, which shows that the ability of their reproduetion is quite low. Therefore, much attention should be paid to protecting them.
