Developing Collective Economy to Build a Prosperous and Highly-Civilized New Baisha

党的十一届三中全会以来,“白沙”的领导班子坚定地执行党的基本路线,竖持以经济建设为中心,不断发展和壮大集体经济,带领群众走共同致富的道路。1989年“白沙”的总产值达5783万元,是1978年的25倍;农村人均收入2750元,是1978年的11.5倍;集体固定资产500万元,是1978年的19倍,1991年被评为省级精神文明单位。几年来,“白沙”发生了翻天覆地的变化,“白沙”群众的生活似芝麻开花节节高。全区干部群众更坚定地跟着共产党走社会主义道路。

Since the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Party's llth Representatives Conference, the leadership of 'Baisha' district has worked firmly in accordance with the Party's general line. It pensists in focusing on the economic construction to develop and enlarge the collective economy and leads people to march forward along a road to common wealthiness. Its total production value in 1989 reached 5783000 ?7,830, , which was 25 times as large a number as that in 1978. Its annual average individual income of the rural population wias ?750, which was 11.5 times as large a number as that in 1978. The collective fixed assets amounted to ?50000000, a number 19 times as large as that in 1978. Fundamental Changes have taken place in Baisha for these several years and the people's life standard in 'Baisha' district has become higher and higher year after year. All the cardres and masses in 'Baisha' will work with one heart and one mind along the socialist road under the leadership of the Party even more firmly than ever before.
