This paper summarizes the early productive stage of novels reflecting reformaton and the cause of its decline later on. The author expounds the new development of writings reflecting reformation from the following asp' ects: the future and destiny of the reformers and their psychological transform, the writers' aesthetic judgement toward life and their deep historical consciousness, the artistic creation, etc. An outline of the process of development and deepening of novels reflecting refomation at new age has then been drawn in this paper.
