The Petroleum Industry Enters'90s

世界石油开发已有200多年的历史,但直到19世纪六十年代末期,才真正进入近代石油工业时代,1869年是近代石油工业纪元年,从此,世界石油产量迅速增长。世界海洋总面积为3.62亿平方公里,占地球总面积的71%。海洋资源十分丰富,随着世界经济和技术的发展,海洋开发工程已成为世界新技术革命的重要组成部分,海洋石油开发又是海洋开发工程的主要内容之一。这是一个新兴的行业,尽管在上个世纪末。

This paper first makes a retrospect of the path travelled by the Chinese petroleum industry and then turn to expound the basic policies and strategic goals,which are based on the forecasts of gas and oil productions by the end of the 20 th century,during the 8th Five-year Plan period.The author analysed the offshore oil situations and concluded that the prospect for the Chinese offshore petroleum industry is bright.Finally,the author reviewed the world oil fields,gas and oil reserves,productive capacity,investment scale and platform market trends in the years of 1990-1995.
