Abstract: A computation method for the determination of the properties of humid air is developed on the basis of the empirical equations for the vapor pressure and the vaporization heat of water. In comparison with the conventional procedure of using the charts for humid air properties, the computation method can eliminate the trouble in grphical calculation and simplify the input program to computer in all the engineering calculations requiring the data of humid air properties and can give more accurate results.
