GeneralChina transformer manufacturing industry was set up inthe year 1927 which lagged 41 years behind the time when trans-former had been invented.In 1936,the transformer with per unitcapacity 300 kVA with the voltage 13.2/6.6 kV was produced.Afterthe founding of the People’s Republic of China,not only per unitcapacity and voltage class of the transformers,but also the types,varieties,performance parameters and the annual output of thetranstormers had been developed rapidly.Voltage classes of themass-produced transformers and autotransformers with the differentcapacity ratings were 220 kV in 60’s,330 kV in 70’s and 500 kV
