摘要 Ten endo-a-substituted-bicyclo[2.2.2]octenyl(and octanyl)methanols were synthesized,their odors were evaluated. We have previously reported the syntheses and structure-odor relationship of two series of endo-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptenyl(and heptanyl)methanols^(1.2).In order to study the effect of the bicyclic skeleton on odor,ten of the title compounds have been synthesized. Ten endo-a-substituted-bicyclo[2.2.2]octenyl(and octanyl)methanols were synthesized,their odors were evaluated. We have previously reported the syntheses and structure-odor relationship of two series of endo-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptenyl(and heptanyl)methanols^(1.2).In order to study the effect of the bicyclic skeleton on odor,ten of the title compounds have been synthesized.
