摘要 The electroanalytical behaviour of xanthophyll was studied by differential pulse polarography and cyclic voltammetry.The reduction wave of xanthophyll at -0.92V(v.s.Ag/AgCl)in 1.25% tetrabutyl ammonium chloride solution(TBAC)was found for the first time.The optimum conditions for the determination of xanthophyll by DPP were established. The results from the application of cyclic voltammetry to study electrode process behaviour showed that the electrode reaction of xanthophyll at a hanging mercury electrode is quasi-reversible reaction.
