Yue Long Chemical Plant has long been known as the earliest and bestintegrated rare earth producer in China.Its annual processing capacity isabout 1000 tons of REO derived either from monazite or from ionabsorption type minerals.Equipped with sophisticated analytical set-up,Yue Long is capable of supplying a full spectrum of rare earth products in-cluding high purity rare earth oxides such as-yttrium oxide,europium oxideetc.,for making various phosphors.Over 60% of its products are being ex-ported to U.S.A.,Europe and Japan.Continuing technological improve-ment is maintained by a technical force of not less than 300 engineers andtechnicians of which 34 are senior engineers.In the history of Chinese rareearth industry,Yue Long is honored by three“first in China”,namely the
