This article expounds the significance and the technical means of energy-saving of fans in our country. The rational selection of fansis the first link for energy-saving. Changing or cutting the impeller, adjusting the angles of variable blades,changing the angles of pressure expander and variable speed of fans may be adopted for the energy-saving of fans on hand. The principle and schemes of variable speed of fans are the main points that are presented and analysed in the paper,so that factories may make their choice by their own conditions.
