In this paper, fixed point theorems are obtained for mean nonexpansive mappings on star-shaped subsets of a convex met- ric space. Our results improve and generalize Fu Junyi's results on convex subsets of Banach space. Finally, fixed points are considered for certain involutions on convex subsets of a complete convex metric space.
