An Approach to the Functional Rehabilitation

本文通过复习小儿麻痹后遗症患者神经肌肉,骨和关节的病理生理演变,强调小儿麻痹后遗症的整体概念并提出了综合性功能重建的意见。认为:外科矫治是整个治疗中的重要方面,但不是全部。综合治疗和康复才是提高疗效,开拓前景的正确道路。对于手术中的力线矫正,动力平衡,肌力组合以及替代肌的长度,张力和肌肉保护等问题进行了初步探讨。

In this paper the whole concept of post-poliomyelitic sequelae was stressed by review of patho-physiological evolution of nerve, muscle, bone and joint etc, and put forward the idea of synthetic functional rehabilitation. The author considered surgical treatment is the important respect but it is not the whole of problem, yet synthetic treatment and rehabilitation are the correct road. With rectification of the force line,motive balance and combination of muscular strength in surgi- cal treatment as well as length, tension and muscular protection of substitutional muscles were discussed.
