舌根癌的临床与治疗

AND TREATMENT OF CARCINOMA IN THE BASE OF TONGUE

本文总结了20例舌根癌的临床与治疗经验。全部病例经手术治疗(单纯手术3例,以手术为主辅以放疗或化疗17例)。随访率95％;3年、5年生存率分别为58.5％、5％。这和文献报告以放疗为主的治疗方式相比生存率有较明显提高。因此,本文提出:舌根癌应以手术为主的综合治疗。本文还就舌根癌手术治疗中手术进路的选择、颈淋巴清扫术等诸方面展开了讨论。

This paper summed up our experiences of clinic and treatment for 20 patients with carcinoma of the base of tongue.All patients were treated by surgery (3 patients by surgery alone, 17 patients by surgery plus adjuvant radiotherapy or chemotherapy).The rate of follow up was 95%.The survival rate was 58.5% and 50% at 3 and 5 years respectively.This survival rate being treated by surgery mainly in our series was evidently higher than by radiation mainly in the literature.Therefor, we suggested that the patient with carcinoma of the base of tongue should be treated by surgery mainly.This paper discussed several key problems of surgical treatment for carcinoma of the base of tongue, such as choice of operative approach and neck dissection etc.
