摘要
《论读书》是由弗朗西斯·培根著作的一篇经典散文。这篇文章广为流传不仅因其富含哲思,还因其连贯的篇章结构。因此,本文从衔接和主述位结构出发分析这篇散文以求从浅层和深层来理解《论读书》的篇章组织结构,从而更好地指导英文写作教学与实践。
Of Studies is a famous essay written by Francis Bacon. Its popularity is not only closely related to its philosophical content, but also related to its coherent textual organization. Thus, this paper analyzes the essay from two approaches:cohesion and thematic analysis in order to better understand its well-organization both at a superficial and a deep level.
