英语专业精读课程教学中翻译教学的融入

Mixing translation teaching with the course of integrated skills of English in English major class

精读是英语专业学生四年大学学习中贯穿始终的支柱型课程,而翻译是高年级开的一门必修专业课。因而在精读教学过程中,把基本翻译理论和方法的讲解融入精读教学,可以使两门课互为补充,相得益彰。为此,本文着重探讨了英语专业翻译教学融入精读教学的必要性、可行性及具体方法,以期对提高英语专业精读课的教学质量提供一些参考。

Integrated Skills of English is a mainstay course throughout the four-year-study of English majors at college, while Translation is a compulsory course for senior students. Therefore, mixing the teaching of basic translation theory and method with the teaching of Integrated Skills of English is helpful to make the two courses complement each other. This paper mainly focuses on the necessity, feasibility and abstract methods of mixing the Translation teaching with that of Integrated Skills of English, expecting to provide some references for improving the teaching quality of Integrated Skills of English.
