An analysis of “Xingji”

本文从产生方式、句法功能和变化发展等角度对当代新词"星级"进行考察和分析。"星级"一词是在"五星级"结构分界转移的基础上形成的,进入全民语言之后,"星级"的句法功能发生转变,语义主观化不断增强,二者共同促使"星级"进入由名词转变为区别词,并进一步向形容词靠拢的实词化历程。

This paper mainly discusses the word “Xingji” in the perspective of production, syntactic function and development. The word“Xingji”is formed from“five-star”structure by boundary shifting. After entering the universal language, the syntactic function has been changing, and the subjectivity of semantics has been growing. The two mentioned aspects bring the word into the course of notional process:changing from noun to distinguishing word and moving closer to the adjective further.
