Research on the strategies for the cultivation of multiliteracies based on multimodality

摘要 随着多媒体技术和计算机信息技术的发展,传统交际中一直占统治地位的语言模态已受到其他符号模态的挑战,话语世界已呈现多模态特征。单纯的语言文字识读能力已不适应多模态话语的发展,多模态化的外语教学核心思想是培养学习者的多元识读能力。而多元识读能力在外语教学中的研究是近些年才兴起的,研究方面仍处初级阶段,尤其在对多元识读能力培养策略研究方面极为欠缺。本研究将探讨在多模态环境下如何培养学习者的多元识读能力,给外语教学提供一定的指导。研究表明:课堂多模态教学与课外多模态实践的有机结合是培养学习者多元识读能力的有效途径。 with the development of multimedia technology and computer information technology, spoken and written language, which takes the dominant role in the traditional communication, has been challenged by other semiotic resources. Multimodal characteristics have already displayed in the discourse world. Pure literacy on spoken and written language can not adapt to the development of multimodal discourse. And the core concept for the foreign language teaching based on multimodality is to cultivate the learner’s multiliteracies. Currently, in the research of multiliteracies, we are in the initial stage, lacking strategies for the cultivation of learner’s multiliteracies. Accordingly, the paper is dedicated to explore how to cultivate the learner’s multiliteracies, to give some guidance for the foreign language teaching. It demonstrates that the rational combination between multimodal class teaching and multimodal extracurricular practice is the effective way to the cultivation of learner’s multiliteracies.
